Welcome to Hurricane Houndesigns!

We are Hurricane and Cynde and we want to welcome you to Hurricane Houndesigns. We are the proud owners of four extremely spoiled greyhounds adopted from Mid-South Greyhound Adoption Option, Inc. in West Memphis, Arkansas. They are (from left to right in the photo) Threat, Captain and Caddy – Admiral is not pictured as he is frightened of the camera, poor guy.

We are avid volunteers and supporters of greyhound adoption. In particular we support our local group, Mid-South Greyhound Adoption Option. We donate a collar for every adopted greyhound and a portion of our local sales is also donated to MSGAO on a weekly basis.

We began this collar making endeavor perhaps as others have – Hurricane looked at collars we had ordered and said, I think I can do that, and better! After several months of experimentation, trial and error, and product improvement we believe we have developed exceptionally high quality, well made collars with attention to detail. We then decided they needed to be offered at affordable prices. All of our collars come standard with wrap around woven suede lining for your dog’s comfort. We have found that this particular lining is very soft and extremely durable. We “crash test” all collars on our own greyhounds, especially Captain who is the most punishing on collars!

We are very excited about our new business and want to be very conscientious of you, our customers and the response has been overwhelming.
